# Human Resonance body assets

These web assets are derived from **Human Base Meshes v1.4.1**, published by
Blender Studio and community contributors as CC0/public-domain assets.

- License: CC0 1.0 / public domain
- Source objects: `GEO-body_male_realistic` and
  `GEO-body_female_realistic`, plus their paired eye meshes

The male and female source bodies share the same base topology: 10,582
vertices, 10,590 quad polygons, a manifold closed surface, and the same UDIM UV
layout. The web export evaluates one Multires subdivision level for smoother
GPU displacement while retaining a practical realtime triangle budget.

Generated assets:

- `human-resonance-male-v1.glb`: 3.5 MB, 84,680 body triangles,
  SHA-256 `4d44bce39f7e2273a71ed1204cede4a88f39544d223aa6825b6186efefb0d751`
- `human-resonance-female-v1.glb`: 3.6 MB, 84,680 body triangles,
  SHA-256 `205e53d28b6250731443650841c8476e5590bbeb797dc72f67cd7cc1367b470d`

`ResonanceData` is exported through `COLOR_0`:

- red: normalized geodesic surface distance from the sternum
- green: reserved full-surface influence mask
- blue: stable per-vertex variation seed
- alpha: `1`

The Human Lab runtime renders the scale lattice procedurally in
`course-human-skin-renderer-module.js` while reusing the body geometry. The
target scale ratio is `0.32`
relative to the current flat Skin study so the surface reads as fine-grained
interactive skin rather than large armor plates. Scale opening, ripple,
tremor, glow, skin tone, and scene-state behavior remain runtime shader
responsibilities; they are not baked into these GLBs.

Rebuild with Blender:

```bash
/Applications/Blender.app/Contents/MacOS/Blender \
  --background /path/to/human_base_meshes_bundle.blend \
  --python scripts/prepare_human_resonance_assets.py -- \
  --output-dir apps/web/public/course/assets/human-resonance
```
